Terms of use
Plain-language terms for the Engage pilot. Last updated 15 October 2026.
What Engage is
Engage is a meeting engagement tool. A host starts a session, and people in the meeting take part with reactions, questions and short polls. Engage runs beside your video meeting and does not record audio, video or screens.
Using Engage
- Use your real name, as it appears in the meeting. The host sees your name and your activity in Engage, as described on the privacy page.
- Do not use Engage to harass people, to share unlawful content, or to attempt to break or overload the service.
- Hosts are responsible for telling their participants how they use the results, and for following the rules that apply to their workplace.
Pilot service
Engage is offered as a pilot, as is, without a promise of availability or accuracy. Engagement measures show activity inside Engage only. They do not measure attention, and should not be used as the only basis for decisions about people.
Your data
See the privacy page for what is collected, who can see it, and how long it is kept. Hosts can delete a meeting at any time.
